Shitty Cars: Chrylser Cordoba

The Chrysler Cordoba. The 1976 sport coupe above was pimped with rich Corinthian leather. Just like Fantasy Island, it could be yours for a price! Corinthian leather is a term coined by the advertising agency Bozell to describe the upholstery used in certain Chrysler luxury vehicles. The term first appeared in advertising in 1974.

It was a land yacht. Big, bloated, slow, crappy build, a pig on gas, everything that was wrong with the US Automotive Industry for the late 70's could be found in this car. Fuck it even had a Landau roof!

I rode in one of these in 1987 when my dad passed away. My uncle owned the car. It was shitty.
