Fall Arrives

 

Just a few days ago I swore it was summer. The drafty cool air of fall is here. Leaves are falling everywhere in Calgary. It's been a terrible year for oil and gas - about 60K layoffs in Alberta since the start of the oil dip.

The mood is grim but people are still hopeful for an uptick. Life is really short. I met a man who got insanely angry at being on hold with his dealership. Such rage. At any rate, I really hope things get better over here.

October 19th can't come soon enough. I hope Canada wakes up and boots out the neoCON reformer Stephen Harper once and for all. I don't care if the NDP or Liberals get into office - just get this asshole out once and for all.
