Are you crazy !?!

Last Friday I reserved a Boosted Board V2 Dual w/Extended Batteries for $100 USD. The board is crazy expensive but this is what I want. My morning commute is less than 10KM, and I think I could achieve an easy ride into work on the boosted board.

I had to admit, the last time I skated was on a cheap ass penny board when I was 15 years old. I didn't wear any protection and wiped out badly going down a slope of a bridge.

This time I'll be buying the helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow guards. I might even invest in a tough motorcycle jacket just so I don't get much road rash when I (eventually) fall off the goddamn thing.

I've been watching people like Casey Neistat cruise through DT NYC on roads and through red lights like he's invicible. I wont' be doing that. I might take the road but I won't break any laws. The Calgary Police Service are pretty reasonable as long as you aren't putting others (or yourself) in danger. I won't be ripping through downtown crowds on this thing.

Apparently if you reserve a board now they will ship in May - perfect timing for the summer time. Since I recently quit weed, I'll use the money I *used* to spend on weed on the new board. I don't feel bad about that at all.

I don't give a fuck what people think. I can't wait to get it. I'll be making videos from the board base (eventually).
