Where ? CAT Story
ETA: Thursday (Maybe)
Cats are pretty smart creatures - they remember things and when objects are new in the environment they already know what's up. Had to take the cat to the vet to get some shots and fur trimmings. The day before I took out the cat carrier (really a big dog box) and put it in the bedroom.
That evening, the cat was spooked and hid under my bed until morning. I had to grab him gently and put him in the cat carrier which I hid in the bathroom.
Years before, I used to trap him with a towel and dump him into the box. It was bad. Kitty took it like a champ, 2 shots and a shave later, he was out of there. I forgot the needles hurt the next day, so when I picked him up he meowed a bit in pain.
I think he thought that I was going to put him away again. Kitty's extremely affectionate but very adverse to strangers and new places. I think he just lost his mind when I brought him to the vet with strange animals and sounds. Oddly, he never vocalized anything. He stuck very close to me though, very cute.
He came back to his old self on Monday. Extremely lovey and the biggest lazy cat I ever knew.
