Another sad legacy of suicide:Anthony Bourdain

Dead from suicide in a French hotel room at age 61, he travelled the world and brought unique tastes and experiences to people everywhere. I was never fond of his show, but I'm not a foodie so I don't expect to love this guy. I do feel particularly bad for his girlfirend and daughter. Nobody should go without a parent at age 11.

The dark mask of dispair and suicide comes back to haunt maintstream media again. You know, when people die from suicide it's not put into the papers - even if someone jumps off a building or parkaide.

I shudder to wonder what drove him to this point of no return. He must have suffered tremendously, and kept the struggle quietly to himself. Until one day he coudln't take it anymore and took the only way out he could. Sad.
