(some) People Are Evil
Nobody is safe. Just when you think everything is ok, something really terrible happens somewhere in the world. And yet more people are murdered by other people each and every day.
I am slowly coming to the uneasy conclusion that there is some dark forces at work. Silently and effortlessly in the background, unnoticed and unwatched. Spreading evil and murderous intent like a black pool of ink into water.
It sounds like a ludicrous conspiracy theory, like something out of a John Wick movie. (My god, those 2 movies are 10/10 - watch them if you haven't seen 'em). Sometimes I think you'd be better off strapping up some millie vests and having a couple of 9mm glocks holstered inside the suit. Maybe add a compensator for each gun, and an extended clip.
So how do you stay safe? Protect yourself from murderous assholes? Those savage idiots who we share this planet with? The killers?
Somehow we just exist with them.
