Winter Tires !

Attacked by stickers, my Extreme Q Vaporizer helps me fight the aches and pains. (Used in moderation and only in the late evenings).

What 2.5 months of crutch walking has done to the handles: Obliterated them completely. New ones are $10 and are far more comfy.

My 2nd monitor is a 45-inch TV set, heavily decorated with stickers I purchased off Amazon. What a wonderful and useless hobby.

The cutest and most lovable creature I have ever known. He gets pissed if I am late or if I ignore him. His name is Kitty.

$900 and 4 tires & an oil change later, Canadian Tire hooked me up with some Winter Edge tires. Highly rated, and about $25 cheaper per tire than Blizzaks. My old Saulun (Chinese) tires are in the recycling bin. I'm giving away my 4-year old Nitto SN2's next week to some lucky Kijiji person.

What makes winter tires grip so well in temps below 7C, is the tiny cuts or "sips" in the rubber. The rubber compound is also created to resist low temps. I told the front line person "No nitrogen". I'm not paying an extra $20 for useless and unnecessary add-ons.

Rust! Bubbles! both signs are bad. I have to deal with this before winter sets in. Not going to be pretty.

Enjoy life, stay safe, and be careful out there.
