Endless Lockdowns ?

A huge protest in the UK today in London, England where maskless protesters were roaming the streets raging against the lockdown measures put into effect recently.

Year 1 into a pandemic that nobody knows when will end. Joey Diaz, a comedian I love and respect, once said "Lockdown is like being in jail. You just did 4 months, congratulations". This was back in June when lockdown measures were eased.

A race to vaccinate and slow the mutations of COVID-19 seem to be a race to the finish line. Everyone I know is goddamn tired of these measures but know it must continue until the population is vaccinated.

But for how long?

Patience for people is just about out. Growing violence and rage is just a tinder spark away from setting things up for a showdown with government and law enforcement.

Can anyone remember the last restaurant you ate in? That freedom of being with people and enjoying a night out?

Dating during COVID is a bloody nightmare. Sure, you can lower your standards and get some pretty savage dates - if you are desperate. I have standards and am not desperate.

I don't judge people anymore when I hear of them getting caught for parties or get togethers. I just don't have time to cast blame. I understand the pressure people are under. I am not better than them.

To understand both sides you have to remove the bias that exists in today's society. CNN vs. FOX vs. Al Jazeera. 

The calming resource I have found is exercise and creating videos on Youtube.
