Vaccinated !

 

I arrived at 10:30, parked on the street and headed into the vaccination center for Calgary. I was getting the first Astra-Zeneca COVID-19 vaccine dose today. 

They didn't allow pictures or filming beyond the queue area shown in this picture. The process is fairly quick and simple; you sit with a nurse who explains the vaccine and it's potential side effects. After getting the shot, you sit and wait for 15 minutes, then leave. That's it.

Although I haven't felt any side effects yet, I do think something will hit me over the next 24 hours. I highly suggest everyone get the first covid-19 vaccine does they can get, because this disease is pretty serious. 

My mom got vaccinated yesterday, my boss on Friday. I'm glad I went, and I'll go back in August to get my 2nd shot. 

I have to say, that nurse was pretty nice.
