Useless POS Keyboard

I tried to login to my workstation and the password didn't work. I scratched my head and made a discovery. I found that the 's' key on my G910 Logitech suddenly failed. And so, I went out and spent $90 on a ROG Strix Flare, with crazy color schemes. It was on sale, regular price at $140. I picked it up at London Drugs.

I was really disappointed the Logitech keyboard would last longer, but it didn't. I ripped out the useless ARC dock that they placed there. It had no electrical connections attached to it. It was simply a phone stand which I never used. You can see it in the dip in the middle left of the old keyboard. That cut-out is where the stupid 'arc' dock was supposed to sit.

Those useless function keys, I never used them. And although the colors still work, I have no patience for this bullshit. This keyboard literally lasted 1.5 years, and wasn't great to type on. The STRIX keyboard seems to have louder keys - I like noise.๐Ÿ’“

I felt guilty buying this keyboard - but hey. Buyer's remorse is a common feeling when spending money. I do need the keyboard, so I picked it up. It's not like I spent $100 on scratch tickets - that I would never do.

I know what it's like to have -1000.00 in the bank and struggle for rent. I also knew at one time what it's like to have over $50K in the bank. And let me tell you, the feeling is no different. Money can change people in the worst ways possible. People think you're rich. Nope.

I see homeless on the street, passed out and high on fentanyl. I am grateful I am not one of those people. I never want to equate people to objects. I hope and pray those people get help with addictions. I never like to watch people suffer. Turning a blind eye is not a solution sometimes.

Technology can be addictive - this I know very well. I won't be purchasing anything else for the next long term - a year or so. I need no technology to further my news addictions. I enjoy writing about news articles now. I'm fascinated with Japanese broadcast studios. I love their designs.

I daydream, and imagine what my own studio would look like.

I have to get back to searching.
