Nothing Lasts Forever

 

I remember a time when things were great. Those fleeting memories of happiness are long gone. Like shadows in history, dimmed by time and tormented by pain. 25 years ago Princess Diana died. People think they will live forever, but they are sadly mistaken.

Time moves ever so quickly, like tears running down your face after a loved one dies. It’s shocking how quickly time can pass you by. The ruthless speed at which it outpaces your memory and desire to hold on to things that are long gone.

I sit in wonder about nothing.
