That Subaru

I drove a 2007 Subaru Impreza for about 3 years in Nova Scotia. The one above isn't my old car. That's a 2007 Subaru WRX STi. They are fairly quick cars, and I had the opportunity to drive one. Let's just say it's far too fast for me. When I leased my 2007, the salesman drove down in a STi trim and let me drive it back to the dealership. And holy shit did it move fast. Too loud. The exhaust booms. The ride is very hard. My back is starting to hurt. Is it normal to pass cars in 2nd gear? Dear God this thing moves.

That loud drivetrain. So annoying but satisfying. The ridiculous wing and gold rims say it all. But anyway, my silver Scooby as I called it, was a real oil-drinker. That boxer engine required constant monitoring. It burned quite a bit of oil. I had a manual 5-speed and it was great fun.
