Looking Back

 

A few years ago, before Theresa past away, we had a chat about end of life. She was insistent on having her body donated to science. I also agreed. A serious discussion was solved quickly. One regret I have is we never got officially married. And although we lived together for over 20 years, this piece of paper that we didn't have never defined our relationship.

In fact, most people who get married soon realize it's paper and nothing more. 

My relationship was the inverse with Theresa: The most intimate with the least official papers.
