Christmas 2023

 

Yesterday, someone died in my building. There was a person yelling in the hallway and then sirens erupted. When I was walking downstairs to the laundry room, I noticed 2 men carrying a body on a stretcher, covered with a blanket.

As for Christmas, I made a ham with potatoes, stove-top stuffing, carrots, and onions. It was decent - though salty. I drained the water and put it into the fridge for tomorrow.

I bought myself an Aria vaporizer yesterday - it works well enough. I have no need for electronics. I bought a game for $30 and that was it.

Compared to years ago, this was a cheap Christmas.

Like everyone I know.

Friends come and go.

It is quiet now.

I like that.
