Traffic is Hell

If you've ever wondered what driving is like in Calgary during construction season, oh wow, do I have stories for you. Lanes that go nowhere, slow traffic that crawls for an hour, only to find out the route you are on was chosen by thousands of other desperate drivers, stuck in hell, going nowhere.

I don't know, but I laugh when ambulances appear because my thought is "Where exactly can I go when I'm stuck in hell?".

It's not a great time.

Given the choice between commuting by train, bus, or driving, I'd take the first two over driving. Parking downtown can be awful. The app I use to park is helpful, but not great. And no matter how I try, it seems escaping after work has become a logistical nightmare.

I think there's only a few weeks left of his awful. Once the snow hits the ground, lanes will open up, and this madness will be paused until next summer.

And it begins once again.
