Don't Stay in The Past

The only wise quote from a medical professional was "A donkey doesn't need his head hit by a rock twice before he knows it's awful."
I'll fill you in on a little secret: If someone hasn't contacted you in a month, they probably never, ever really want to talk to you. Seriously.
Once you cross mid-century in age, the time you spent with people in the past - quickly you realize it was a waste of time. But things happen for a reason, because without those times, you wouldn't have the present day insight. There are no shortcuts to anything. The more short cuts you take, both legal and illegal, the worse off you'll be.
Thinking about 'the good old days' is a huge mistake. Let's be honest: They weren't all that great. A lot of struggle, heart-ache, and hard work. I wouldn't want to revisit.
And neither should you.
Peace.
