Accident and Ricers

While on my way to work today there was a block up of traffic. It turns out an older lady in a Saturn accidentally cut off a guy in a Dodge Neon and drove him up the sidewalk. I pulled over and got out of my car since nobody else was going to bother. What's up with people these days? Anyway the older lady was ok but shaken up. I asked her if she wanted me to contact an ambulance but she said she was all right.

The younger guy in the Neon was pretty shook up. He was sitting down with his heads between his legs. He said he just moved here to Halifax and was pretty bummed out about the accident. Other than that he was ok. His Neon was fucked.....the lady hit it pretty good on the left side and the trip up the high bank sidewalk ruined his car forever.

Two ladies popped up while I decided to call the cops or not. They decided to phone the police anyway. At that point I took off because there was no point in me hanging around. I told the guy to hang in there.... I've been in my share of accidents before... I know exactly what he is feeling.

On to the ricers. So this taxi stand that used to be at the end of my street has been sold and purchased by a Tattoo and piercing shop. Guess what the majority of people who have been hanging around are? Yup. Hip Hop wanna be ricers. They got their riced up Cavaliers and Hondas... blinged out with rims and all that shit. I guess they never see Imprezas before because they're always watching me when I drive by. I make sure to let the drive train whine up as I pass by. The Subaru has such a noisy drive train it's hard not to notice the damn thing. I really wish I had an STi but for Gods sake, I know deep down I'd wrap that bitch around a tree sooner or later.

Most annoyingly, there is this riced up Toyota Tercel that pops by my apartment block every now and then, with big rims and blacked out windows. I know. What the fuck? Who spends money on a fucking TERCEL? Lets check the stats:

"Power comes from a 93 horsepower, 1.5 litre engine with a fuel consumption rating of 7.0 L/100km city and 5.4 L/100 km on the highway, with a four-speed manual transmission. A 5-speed manual, a three-speed automatic and a four-speed automatic were the other transmission choices. "

Did you get that? N I N E T Y -- T H R E E horse power! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Everytime I see that guy waxing and polishing that piece of shit Tercel I have to bite my tongue from saying "What ya got in there?".

Even a Toyota Echo has more power!

:x
