What is wrong with people?
[20 km east of Portage La Prairie, MB, a lone RCMP police car sits next to an abandoned GreyHound bus.
If you haven't read this yet or live under a rock....some crazy fuck in a Greyhound bus stabbed and decapitated a fellow passengers head. He then began eating chunks of the dead passengers body and proceeded to 'gut' him. As a token of his twisted will, the killer brought the head to the front of the bus to display it to the people who were holding the doors closed. Go to the link in my previous paragraph to get an idea of the gruesomeness of this crime.
Normally I don't give a shit about what goes on in the world with crime. People are crazy. But this bus was one that I took in my teenage years when I visited my dad and grandma from Winnipeg-> Portage La Prairie and back. It's a really boring ride. Thinking back.......there was no on-board entertainment systems in the buses of the 1980's. They had tacky patterns and were uncomfortable.
Taking a piss in the back of a moving bus is literally impossible. It's hard to concentrate when you see a huge mass of piss and turds sloshing about. But I really enjoyed the bus. It was a fun time. But for the poor 22 year old victim who was butchered for no good reason (is there ever one?), the bus will be a tragic reminder for those survivors and those who responded to this horrendous crime scene.
I believe the person who did this (Vince Weiguang Li, 40, of Edmonton) is someone who had a psychotic break. What else would explain someone who begins chopping at someones neck without any expression of rage or fear or anything?
