Miscellaneous Bullshit
I'm going to be travelling once again on Tuesday to visit family and friends for a couple of weeks. Another huge bank is going under tomorow morning (Lehman Brothers). Who knows what repercussions this will bring to the world. I was checking into recent classified documents that the f b i had put on their website recently - and guess what? The links don't work. Why am I not surprised. Gas is now 1.47 per liter after jumping 13 cents in one day. I can't fathom why - oil was still just over 100 per barrel on the last trading day. Greed. That is the disease that is affecting the oil companies these days. Pure unadulterated greed.
Soon enough the government will make it illegal to even go to the bathroom. Got a pollution guilt problem? Carbon tax it. Want to drive that fancy BMW or Lexus? Get a luxury tax. Want to drive in London England? We got a tax for that. Do you like to drive on nicely maintained highways? Road tolls. How about selling your big SUV and getting a smaller car? Good luck with that. Most SUV's aren't worth a bag of chips these days.
