Challenger, Assholes, and Driving

Halloween was a disappointment. No party, no booze, and no pumpkin. I had planned on at least carving an image of the Dodge Challenger SRT8, but all the stores sold out. So the next day I drove out to the local Dodge Dealership in Dartmouth. Prominently located in the dealership was a black Challenger SRT8 with massive 20 inch wheels. 'Holy crap that car has dubs" I said out loud.
I noticed a salesman that I had worked with in the past when I ran Stonemanautoreview, but that domain is dead and my reviews have changed to blogs. It was nice to see Bryan again, and he told me the car starts at 43 thousand dollars and tops out near 54 for the SRT-8. I jumped into the Dodge Challenger and was suprised how nice it was. Although it did have some cheapness to the feel, the seats were very comfortable (leather) and the rear set leg room was impressive. my only beef with the car is the rear window visibility: Terrible. But with a car like this you woudn't be doing too many reversing maneuovers anywhere.
Just looking at the car you had this crazy urge to go take it out and do burnouts in the parking lot. But with the price of tires these days, that fantasy quickly evaporated. Dartmouth Dodge really treated me well when I asked to drive their vehicles, they never said NO and always threw the keys my way. Because they only had one car, it would be impolite to ask to take the car out. I never met a more cheery and pleasant salesman than Bryan at Dartmouth Dodge.
Then I went down to Futureshop to buy some blank CD-R's. That store was closed and I headed down to Best Buy at Dartmouth Crossing. Once there, I found the same CD-R's that were on sale at Futureshop for 18.99 but were priced at 39.99 at bestbuy! I took the CD-R's and walked over to customer service, where they promptly performed a price match and sold me the CR-R's for $18.99. Not bad eh?
While leaving the parking lot some hip hop jackass in a Jeep decided to do a burnout in a crowded parking lot. (Not really a burnout, as he was moving but it was loud). I yelled "You fucking asshole" but that didn't do anything. He took off. I am so sick of those backwards baseball hat wearing hiphop assholes.
The old Scooby is driving fine. I really need to find some dirt roads where I can have some safe WRC fun. Later....
