The Tale of Shitty Earphones
Philips earphones have to be the worst I have ever had in my entire life.
For some stupid reason, designers made the right earphone cord 6 inches longer than the left. Why? Who the fuck knows. The little rubber extenders always fell off. Sound quality was sub standard. When I realized I lost one of the extenders today and tried to wear them without it, I ripped the headphones to shreds in a fit of rage. It's somewhat the same story of what I did a few months ago when my piece of shit mp3 player reset for the 50th time (it suffered a fatal boot stomp). Electronics don't last for me, for some reason everything dies early, maybe because I've driven a fist through it once it fails me. I would be terrible at quality control. In my mind, I imagine this huge wood chipper in which I fire every piece of shitty electronics that have failed me over the years: VCR's, computers, phones, televisions, microwave ovens, ovens, washing machines, water heaters, watches, cars, etc. The problem is most of this shit these days are made in China with sub-standard quality components. God help us if ever their cars come over here. They can keep their crappy Chery QQ and the Landwind - both made of tinfoil. Fuck it.
