Blood and Crips: Made in America

A compelling docu-drama with Forest Whittaker as the narrator. I watched this movie and felt the futility of what is going on in South Central L.A. these days. Every city in North America has at least one gang or another. Winnipeg has many Aboriginal gangs (ie. Indian Posse, Red Alert). Halifax has a variety of gangs. Calgary has the Hell's Angels and Crips and Bloods (if you can believe it). Larger cities have MS-13 and even Vancouver has asian / Chinese triads.
