2010 Nissan GT-R

Well, I did it. I honestly didn't think I would go through with it, but after a careful consideration and long thought, I went ahead and ordered a 2010 Nissan Skyline GT-R. The Subaru will stay as a second car. Of course, I'll have to remove some of the post-factory additions that are on the car, like the crazy stickers and ricer seat color scheme.
I'm not completely sold on the Bride Composite Racing Seats combined with the lime green seatbelts. The carbon fiber accents are an expensive nice touch, but seem unnecessary in such a quick beast of a car.

To be honest, the cost is astounding, $81,800 plus destination and taxes. You can't test drive them, unfortunately. To buy them, you have to go through Montreal or the West Coast. (Or through a tougher US market, which is impossible, btw).

There's a back-order of GT-R's with a list of people waiting, God only knows, until they get a crack at buying the car. You can jump the queue slightly by offering to pay a cash incentive on top of the 82K, which isn't illegal, just unethical.

Insurance on the car, is, well, ridiculous. Premiums start at $900 per month, including a $3500 deductible. Ya, this car is fucking expensive shit.

Extra front clips are going to be a bitch because the roads are so bad in Nova Scotia, I'll certainly be scraping ground during the first few weeks of driving this beast.
I know, I know. People are going to judge and say "He's compensatin'" or  maybe "Middle age has finally set in". Totally untrue. I haven't even remotely thought about buying a Porsche yet. And like Austin Powers and his Penis Pump, it's "Not my bag Baby".

The wing has got to go. Its just too damn ricey. Along with the stripes. See that building back there? This car is worth three of those buildings. My main consideration when getting the car was the all wheel drive. I need it. Driving in the winter time, you'd be hard pressed to find a better vehicle than AWD anywhere.
And as I wait, sitting impatiently for my Nissan Skyline GT-R, wondering when it will appear, will it safely arrive, will I wreck it? All of these questions will undoubtedly be answered. And indeed, they will be unanswered because if you took the time to read this, you'll realize I'm bullshitting and I haven't bought a GT-R.

I'm sorry to spoil your day.
