Most Stolen Cars of 2009

The most-stolen vehicles, based on the rate at which people file insurance claims for theft, are 2007-2009 Cadillac Escalade luxury SUV, Ford F-250 heavy-duty pickup, Infiniti G37 luxury car, and the Dodge Charger with the powerful Hemi engine.

God knows why someone would want to drive a Ford F250 pickup truck OR the Dodge Charger (even with the Hemi it's really a fucking shitty car).  I never really understood why someone would want the Escalade. It's a SUV luxury truck that drives like the boat it is. The G37, on the other hand, is hot-as-shit performance AND luxury. Plus it's not a very outlandish car like the 370Z or GT-R. I think the Escalades are stolen simply because the rims are chromed up. All that extra bling really puts a higher street price up there for the ghetto folks.

But back to the Charger. I really don't care WHAT Dodge does in 2011 or 2012. They should have killed this car off long ago. It's horrendous. The suspension, interior, exterior, driving, just horrible. You could stuff a V-12 twin-turbo in the bitch and I would refuse to drive it. I would rather drive a KIA RIO than this car. Yes, it is tha bad. Thieves who take this car are only stealing the vehicle for one reason: Because it's shitty and nobody will miss it when the owner comes to claim it. People who buy these vehicles are either too lazy to do their own research or just plain stupid. The Truth about cars has a very informative review of the 2008 model.

The Dodge Charger is the K-car of the 80's: Cheap to build, make, and sell. It was made for bread-and-butter buyers. People who want pre-packaged crap that's cheap and quick. But does it last?
