My next vehicle
I finally did it. I bought a 2005 Nissan Altima Extra for $5200 plus tax (6K total).
The car has A/C, automatic, cruise, pdl, pw, remote keyless, power seats, cd/stereo, 2.5L 175 bhp inline 4-cylinder.
You can be rest assured I will be posting my driving review about the car over the next few months. My Subaru is going back to the dealership this Friday. It's been a great car and I'm sad to see it go.
The car is obviously way larger than an Impreza. The room inside is great, I no longer feel a bit compressed in the drivers seat. Two entirely different cars, so I won't even bother to compare past the seats. Obviously I will only be using FWD going forward. No problem. Next winter I'll be getting some snow tires - you need them on a FWD car for sure.
The car has all-wheel discs though, a nice touch. Believe it or not the car will allow you to shift it manually via the console. Could come in handy for those hill descents.
