2012 Nissan GT-R !!!

I..........am speechless. Imagine, me, walking up the road towards Tim Hortons during my lunch break. I look up, listening to music on my MP3 player and I spot this gun metal gray beauty Nissan GT-R parked outside Tim Hortons !!! It is MINT. It's also from the U.S.A. (what is it doing up here?). The car was parked anxiously close to the parking block curb (I estimate, about 2 inches away). Click on all photos to get full resolution. All images were taken from my blackberry, so some may be fuzzy. This car is affectionately known as "Godzilla" by car nuts. People were walking by, watching me take pictures of this car - oblivious as to why. "It's a GT-R!" I exclaimed. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Why is this car here? Who bought it? Why the strange license plates? I was mesmerized. For a moment, I fantasized the thought of driving this car.

This car is so quick, it caused Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear to suffer a neck vertebrate injury. The car literally snapped his neck bones from a 0-60 in acceleration. Yes, the car has launch control and even a moron can put this car over the speed limit in sub-5 seconds - but where's the challenge? I'd be more worried about bottoming out on the bad roads of Halifax. Dear God, this is one magnificent car.

How quickly is the GT-R making this run, you ask? How about an almost even 3 seconds! That's right, the 2012 Nissan GT-R is running the 0-100 KM/H (0-60MPH) in 3.046 seconds! Making those numbers even more impressive are the conditions under which it was achieved. At just 13 degrees Celsius (about 56 Fahrenheit), the vehicle has a lot of room to improve in warmer, dryer conditions, when the wheels will grip the pavement even better. That means that the 2012 Nissan GT-R should be very capable of posting sub 3 second 0-100KM/H times!

Odd license plate. Aggressive, wide, quad-exhaust.

Blurry due to Blackberry. 2012 Nissan GT-R is a Halo Car for Nissan

This car is shod with Blizzaks! Notice the tire tells you the rotation. Cross-drilled brakes

Fully functional disc brake vents.

Close-up of the Twin-Turbo V6 GT-R: A beauty that out-performs them all.

LED lights, undercarriage wind covers, FMIC with two turbos.

Who is the lucky owner? Why is it here? Is Nissan taunting me?
