Local Gay Activist Murdered in Halifax

I walk by this area every day on my way to work. Roughly 2 days ago at 2:am, a 49-year old man was killed after trying to break up a fight. The man who was the killer was out on a 24-hour day pass from the psychiatric hospital. Bad idea.
