It has been slow to find new friends out here. I met a buddy of mine, Ivan who used to work with Quest with me years ago. It was nice to see him after all those years. I joke and call him my "fellow Russian" but in fact I am not even .000001% Russian.

I discovered a Chinese bakery I had visited 12 years ago when I lived here. They make bread rolls with meats and vegetables inside them. Really delicious. They cost $1.30 each and I'm going to buy a bunch on Monday.
