Goodbye WNR-2000; Hello Trendnet AC1900 Dual Band Wireless Router (TEW-818DRU)

A few years ago I bought a Netgear WNR-2000 from Tigerdirect for $30. It served me well for a few years until it started to start randomly resetting and losing my connections. I had to take action, I bought a Trendnet TEW-818DRU for about $140 last month. It has not reset or had any issues since I set it up. It claims to support AC speeds up to 1900, but that's only when you have 1300 AC coupled with N speeds of 600.

None of my devices need that. I mainly used wired gig connections and it works perfectly.

I gave my old router away for free.
