Black as hell air filter

Took out the cabin air filter out of the Mazda, and it was completely black. I replaced it and also found my blower motor resistor blew up. The thermal fuse opened up, now I only have high fan speed. This fucking part costs $137 at the dealership.

Sourcing a part out of there is going to be tricky. I caught a google streetview guy in the middle of a pond in the downtown calgary park today.
