An epic find!

Someone put this lovely item out in my building and had a "FREE" sign on it. This is the legendary Hitachi Direct-Drive HT-460 turntable. Released in 1977, this turntable is about 40 years old!

I powered it up - the motor requires hand-starting. Everything works. I accidentally broke the plastic piece the arm rests into, but I can fix that with Krazy glue next week. Now I just need an amp and speakers & records.
