My SR-71 is Grounded

This will sound strange - mostly because I'm pretty high at the moment. I visualize my spiritual wellness by visualizing an SR-71 blackbird. It works like this: When I have troubles, and am feeling low, or depressed... I see the plane flying low, 5,000 feet at post-mach speeds.

When I feel wonderful, this plane soars to 110,000 feet at Mach 4, breaking the sound barrier and travelling 4x the speed of sound.The engines are running  at maximum performance and efficiency. This plane is special; it doesn't run on aviation fuel. It has an almost unlimited supply of fuel. It is capable of exceeding all design specifications and change configurations dynamically instantaneously at any moment. It may even change to a different color. This plane will even get you those super-expensive boxing pay-per-views AND in high-definition. Holy shit, eh ??

My SR71 is currently in an airframe, covered in dust and rust. The plane is completely pulled apart, bits of pieces are lying around. The engines, after been running for 22 years, are completely shot. They require a rebuild immediately. The tires are threadbare relics that you'd see on crash derby cars. Every once in a while, a painful memory of Theresa will pop up, and some asshole would steal a part out of my airframe yard. FUCK.

The mechanics who usually work on these relics are on vacation for 2 weeks. Parts are impossible to find. Do you know how hard it is to find a left wing stabilizer on a top-secret jet? I couldn't find it on ebay anywhere. Plus, my neighbors are starting to complain about the toxic hydraulic fluid that I keep in bins on the property.

And that's where I am. Waiting to be rebuilt.
