Becoming Professional

 

To further my decision in going professional gamer*, I have decided to buy a microphone, stand, and mixer. I also had to buy the 48V phantom power supply for the microphone.  I am not seriously going professional, it's more of a joke. I like to commentate on games, so I thought this would be good to record using Twitch. God knows how terrible I am at FPS games. (Although to my credit I am getting better).

The microphone gives you close - but not quite - broadcast quality audio. The mixer is cheap, but will work and has a usb port (important!). Although it only has 1 XLR input, I don't expect to have guests over, unless I meet a special lady in the near future.

Once I get the gear on Tuesday, I'll take a photo and then provide a link to my twitch stream.
