Youtube
I'm bringing my Youtube channel back, I've purchased a GoPro 8 Black & will be uploading videos. I have managed to figure out how to stitch videos together using avidmux. Even in 1080p they are massive, 12 GB of data when saved to .mkv format.

I do not like the walking bounce from the gopro chest mount. I may either buy a cheap Gyroscope or use stick pod instead. The nice feature of the chest mount is it's unobtrusive and there is no 'waving' the camera around. The stick pod wouldn't eliminate the bounce at all, but minimize it was the up/down motion would be extended out to my arms instead of my core.
As I do not go downtown often, these videos will be fairly uncommon until they begin opening up Calgary's economy again. Literally all shops and restaurants are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
I ordered some Ski-type masks off Amazon a month ago, and they have arrived - finally. These simple cloth barriers can be boosted up with paper towel layers, and give you good enough protection from COVID for now.
I am going to mail one to my mother, keep one, and maybe give another away. I just do not know who to give it away to. I got my thumb caught in a piece of furniture a month or so ago, the black spot is slowly moving down my nail bed.
I continue using my AD2 Schwinn bike 6 days a week. I do not know what benefits it's doing other than toning my legs and arms. It is good enough exercise for now, until my gym re-opens up.
I am hopeful the re-opening of the economy will be done with precision and care. We don't want an outbreak here that will over-saturate the ICU beds.
I found an old poem my wife wrote when she was just released from the hospital in 2014. I'll type out the poem below, it describes how she feels being int he hospital and the nurses there.
What do you see nurses, what do you see
What do you see when your looking down on me
A decrepit and old lady who needs her ass wiped
Or a dignified woman pure guilty & fright
We used to have dances,
sneak kisses, and all
See the dreams
I see in you when your washing me
with a cold cloth
