Stainless Steel Straws

 

Although expensive at $18 for 6 stainless steel straws, you'll never have to buy straws again, ever. They came with a pipe cleaner and rubber holder. I tested it out in a Diet Pepsi and 7-11 slurpee cup.

The pepsi was fine, and the slurpee was even better than the paper straws 7-11 uses now. Those would clog up if you didn't take a sip within 10 minutes. Because they are metal, they cannot freeze unless the outside air temp around the cup is 0C. It will continually absorb the hot warm air from the top and pull cold from the bottom. The result is a straw that never gets clogged and is always cold.

I think they were worth the money. At least from a sanitary position, I will boil. them in water to clean them or use the soapy pipe cleaner. I wish there was some pure straight straws, because they make the straw even shorter in a large cup.
