+2 Cameras, Weed, and Bumble

I bought an open box Canon Vixia HFR800 camcorder for $139. It does 1920x1080, has 32x zoom (real zoom), shoots pretty basic video (60 frames per second). It has a microphone input and headphone output, amazing. I'm going to use this until I get my GH5 in a month or so. The camera is so simple, open the LCD screen door and it turns on. One button to start/stop recording, and a wheel zoom at the top. The thing will record up to 152 minutes with the current battery. I stuffed a 64 GB SD card into it, took it from my Ricoh GR2.

I picked up a Canon Powershot ELPH 360HS for $139. This camera is for my mother, a surprise gift for her. She has an ancient camera from 2006 which is 6 megapixels. This camera is 20+ megapixels, has amazing focus, color balance, and 1920x1080 video. The back screen is gorgeous. 

She loves to take photos, so I thought I would spoil her with a surprise camera. I bought these from a store called OpenBox in Calgary. They sell all open boxed items returned to manufacturers. They work, and have a 6 month warranty. I have to buy her an SD card tomorrow before I ship it out. The thing even has daylight savings time on the thing.

I'll shoot some video tomorrow with the Canon during my lunch break. I've already balanced it on the Ronin SC2. It's so small, kind of like a kid's camera. 

Tomorrow I turn on my Bumble account, fire up a few joints, and begin ripping through profiles. My buddy Johnny is going to join me in a live broadcast on twitch, I'm hoping to get my green screen working correctly so I can place myself into unique areas.

It's going to end in madness.
