It is a blast furnace outside today (+35.4 C)

As a Canadian, we are not used to this hot weather, unless you live in Winnipeg. But even then, you only get maybe a week of this heat. Calgary rarely gets above 28 out here. It felt hotter than 35 degrees today when I stepped outside of my office building after work.

I had to use an umbrella to get shade from the sun. You could feel the heat radiate everywhere, off the asphalt, buildings, from the sky itself... In some small town in BC, they hit 46.1 C.

Here is a video I shot today using my iphone.

I don't think I would cope well in +46C weather. To live in an area like Phoenix which gets temps like these on the daily normally. You shuttle from one A/C container to another for the rest of your life.

The heat reminded me of when I spent 2011 in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Protip: It can be found in April 2011. It was +33 and the sun has much more power.

It's 10:42 at night, and it's still +29 C.
