Michelin Blizzak DM-V2 Winter Tires

I picked up 4 Michelin Blizzak DM-V2 tires, 17 inch, $700 at Costco. I need to buy some steel rims from Canadian tire, then have Costco mount & balance these. If I don't use Costco, I won't have a warranty on the tires.

I had good results with my previous car, a Mazda 3, it used Nitto SN2 snow tires for a few years. I upgraded those to Canadian Tire WinterEdge tires - much, much better.

I'm going to get this work done by mid-September. I have a feeling the snow will be coming down very quickly this year.

The only item left to buy is an Electric battery warmer blanket. It wraps around the battery and keeps it warm during cold nights. Makes starting the car very easy when it's -30C. They extend the life of your battery and only cost about $40 and can be installed by almost anyone.
