Once Upon a Storm in Florida

 

Thoughts and prayers to Florida as Hurricane Ian roars towards the western coast of that state. I've been through Hurricane Juan, and although it was a level 2 or 3, these storms can be dangerous.

I have to go search for work today. I went out and paid my cell bill, walked around Chinook center, then came back downtown. Yesterday I phoned my mom the first time in 9 months. I'm glad I had that conversation with her. I'll phone her again in the future.

I don't have any thoughtful wisdom quotes today. I just thought I would write about the hurricane that is roaring through. My thoughts and prayers are also with the people of Puerto Rico, who also suffered at the hands of the previous storm. It hit Nova Scotia too, although not as severely as Puerto Rico.

Anyway, my mind is a bit wracked up. I have to go deliver some cat food for Kitty. I can't wait to see him on Friday.
