United Nations

Attacked in a McDonalds I was. It was almost 6 months ago, and these two crazy assholes decided to attack me at a local McDonalds restaurant while ordering food. Its just incredible how crazy things got.

I won't go into the details, but I ended up with a blown out knuckle due to cracking the motherfucker on the eye socket so hard he almost got knocked out.

I'm 52 years old OK? I don't have time to fight. I wished that no more fights would occur anymore with me. I wasn't in a hostile mood at all. I was hungry.

This is just how bad society has become these days. I wound up with some mild PTSD for a while, images of two younger men jumping at me and almost getting me. Now I stay away from aggressive people, I can tell when there are awful people in the room with me. And there are many of them.

Calgary was never a dangerous city, but you have to remember there are always dangerous, unstable people in safe cities. That moment taught me to give up fast food immediately, and to stay home. It's no wonder old people stay in basements these days.

I'm not proud, but at least I stood my ground and wasn't a coward. This message isn't meant for anyone in particular. It's just that people who like to strut about in a powerful way got their ass handed to them by a man twice their age

But anyway, that glory is long gone. And there was no glory in that moment, only terror and fight.

PTSD is like an onion, it takes a while to unwind. This one is long gone, the last of the last

๐Ÿ’“'s to those affected by PTSD in any way, shape, or form.

I understand.
