On Forgiveness

She was lead down a road to nowhere, by a foul person who cared nothing about her. Left with nothing but a painful, empty memory. In the end, she was abandoned, and I was waiting for her when she turned back down the road.

Forgiveness is essential in a relationship. It is the pinnacle of love; the absolute highest form you can grant. The self-inflicted punishment of guilt is enough to level most people flat. Tears of shame and sadness overwhelm you. The horrible people that exist in this world - and let's be honest, the majority: deserve nothing.

But KC is special. Broken and deserted, alone and unable to cope. I will help her cope and guide her to be a better person in time. I hope and wish she becomes a better person. And know I will never abandon you, unlike other people in the world.

They say time heals all wounds. And in this moment, it will. When roads lead to nowhere, you feel alone and isolated. There are painful memories that we don't want to chat about. Horrible guilt. Ease your mind. If you are in a loving relationship, and the other person is remorseful and honest, it can be worked out.

Sometimes the sharp knife of retribution is unnecessary and cruel. Wounds that can be cut easily with words - I shall not. If you love someone, and if they really love you - they will prove it.

If you can't grant forgiveness, you really shouldn't be in a relationship. I hope and wish I can always forgive someone I care about. It's what love is about.

And sadly, most people in this world will never understand that.

I hope she knows I still love her dearly
