Life In General

 

I sit back and remember what once was, thinking how quickly time passes you by. Sometimes I imagine I'm fishing by the river, and it's a warm sunny day. The river is moving quickly, and I can hear the water burbling. 

I went into the mall on Friday and was astonished at the Christmas decorations. But for what?

My mind was elsewhere. 

Somewhere in the distance, I hear a siren.

An emergency vehicle is trying to get past traffic down center street.

Chaos is back.

I shrug my shoulders and continue walking.
