I don't wear this hat often. It's not Stampede, but I do like the look of it. I have a white one, but it's made of plastic straw. The smoke in Calgary has been awful. I could not see the sky and it there was a red sun. 

You could smell the smoke, but it wasn't as bad as it was years ago. It can get dangerous for people who have poor lungs. 

Traffic has been challenging with some of the road work going on. The chill in the morning is coming back. When the time is 21:00, the sky is dark again. 

Fairly soon, the darkness of winter will approach all too soon.

The despair over remembering that perfect summer will set in.

Slowly.
