Stone News Network is Over

 

Honestly, it was fun while it lasted. The news site was running for almost 2 years now, and when the domain renewal came up I hesitated and thought "Do I really enjoy this?". On one part, I did. But on another point, I got tired of essentially reporting on information from other news sites. It seemed pointless. And while I appreciated the viewership, it became more of a distraction and I felt my time could be more useful doing other projects.

And so, the site will go offline near October 3, but you can still visit the archives at here. 

So what's next? I've already purchased a new domain name. I want to dive into more artful things and less on the brutal reality of news. To be honest, the assassination of Charlie Kirk really hit an awful spot for me.

If it could happen to him, it really could happen to anyone. The real truth is, there are a lot of awful people in the world. It's time to put something hopeful, and light on the internet. 

I won't reveal the new domain name. I'll be taking my time before launch and as always, I'll be modifying my instagram account to reflect that.
