September 9, 2019, my best friend and everything past away from a long-standing illness.

It's been about 6 years since. Kitty is still here and doing well. I have moved several times and changed several jobs since then.

But all in all, life is good. I cut the awful out of my life, and moved forward. I'm grateful for today.

You never know what the world will throw at you in any moment.

I know she's in a better place.

I'm no longer grieving and have a lot of hope.

It's what she would have wanted for me.

I'm hopeful things will continue to get better.
