Jim Prentice no more. Alberta PC's decimated in election

Yesterday alberta changed to a majority NDP government. This is the first time in 44 years the ruling progressive conservatives have lost their grip in Alberta. Jim Prentice, the dimwit who was parachuted in from ottawa to be the "interim" Premier, decided that after making a terrible budget with tax-payer hikes and cutbacks to health care and charities - he should call an election. His own hubris was his demise. Pride, ego, and narcissism all combined to form the worst Premier we've ever had.

This guy was so out of touch with ordinary Albertans that he ruled his own party like a goddamn corporate boardroom. Even joining a whole bunch of traitorous wildrose ex-pats to join the PC club. He had the nerve to cut charity tax and NOT increase any business tax or royalty rates. Un-fucking-believable. But what do you expect from a Stephen Harper trained seal?

Well no more. We've seen through Grim Jim's bullshit too long. Fuck him and his budget. Fuck him and his entitled attitude. I hope Rachel brings a new era into Alberta where corporate cronyism is at an end. People matter, not companies.

And finally, this douchebag manages to somehow WIN his riding. So what does he do? Not only does he resign from the PC leadership, but he relinquishes his SEAT that he just WON. Now a re-election that will cost a quarter of a million dollars has to be done AGAIN for that riding.

It's like when a spoiled child loses at a game, takes his toys home, and cries in the closet.
