No, you shouldn't carry a 24 of pop on a skateboard

But it can be done - although the balancing is tricky at best. Especially when the temperature is hitting +28C, which feels kinda warm when you're used to +10C or - normal Canadian weather.

I don't think I ever envisioned, at 48.5 years old, riding an electric skateboard to the Canadian Superstore to grab some snacks. When I was 17 years old, I remember riding a shitty little 1980's plastic skateboard down a fairly large overpass - and hitting a rock & landing on my wrists. It was very lucky I never broke my wrists from that fall.

But anyway, I thought I would talk aobut the games that I've been playing lately.

Video Games on Rotation

Prey
A local inhabitant of your space station, who wants to destroy you.

Prey is a first-person shooter survival horror video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was released worldwide on 5 May 2017, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

If you're afraid of the dark, can't stand being jump scared... well this game isn't for you I'm afraid. Its hard, the enemies are fairly smart and the game play is very interesting. I picked it up via steam sale for $20, a pretty good bargain.

Escape From Tarkov
Still full of cheaters, Escape from Tarkov is brutally tough
Why do I play? It reminds me of Dayz before it went to shit. I really tried to get back into DayZ, but after 300 hours of pointless gameplay, I ended up moving my interest to other games such as Escape from Tarkov. My playstyle is stealth: Don't seek out other players, but if you do see another one, try to kill them immediately. Just today I took out a level 25 player with a 9mm handgun. Lovely!

I love hardcore military sim games. The game play is brutal and unforgiving; cheating players are rampant. I rarely spawn in as a PMC anymore. 99% of my games are in Scavenger mode. I've managed to amass 4+ million rubles doing this. In the end I had to convert my Rubles to USD, so now I'm near 900,000 Rubles and 30,000 USD.

Rainbow 6 Siege

Just a friendly drop-in party with explosives
The toughest game of all three. You literally will be head shot & killed if you peep your head around the corner without peeking. The game is so hard I had to resort to watching youtube videos on how to get past some of the scenarios. It will make you rage quit often, but don't give up: Your reward is better FPS gaming and getting used to running around with and blasting players around corners. Usually that doesn't happen, and I end up dead by another player's scoped headshot. Brutal.

I'm really terrible using the ADS and corner scoping, but with practice I may reach a decent level of compentency. I haven't played Player Unknown Battelgrounds in 2 months, mainly because my attention has been captured by Tarkov and Rainbow 6. I'll go back on PUBG likely next week.

Realm Royale

Hit other players enough and they turn into chickens
Fortnite has some competition: Realm Royale puts you into a scenario like Pubg, but it looks and plays more like Fortnite, but without the building and when you hurt a player really bad, they turn into a chicken that's waving a "i give up" sign. Really cute. Although its lightweight and would be considered a "joke" by Rainbow 6 players, this game offers legitimate strategy and playtime. The maps are large and the amount of classes and weapons are amazing. I only hope the publisher doesn't aggresively monitize it and destroy the community. I don't play this game much, but only if I'm really bored out of my mind.
