GoPro Hero 8 Black

I rebuilt a computer for a co-worker this week after hours. I gifted them a motherboard, processor, cooler, memory. I sold them a GTX 1060  for $100.  I was surprised when they gave me a $200 costco gift card and a $100 skip the dishes card. I had given them some of my previous computer parts for free, but he gave me some $ for the time on assembly. I didn't want anything for it.

I used the $200 to put towards a GoPro Hero 8 Black bundle on Costco, normally $425, I chopped it down by 200 and paid $225. I'll get it next week and use it for my bike rides. I used to own a Hero 3 or 4 black years ago, I'm hoping the performance is better than the old one for FPS. Seems to be able to handle 4K at 60, which is impressive.

I picked up some fenders off Mountain Equipment Co-Op in Calgary for my bike, I don't enjoy riding around with rain coming up my ass.I also purchased a bicycle pump, tire repair kit, and membership to MEC.

I'll never lock the bike up, I plan on taking it on short rides only. It will either remain in my apartment or at work (whenever I get back to work at the office).

To be honest I didn't really need a gopro. I hated the software, but I couldn't justify spending $700 on some Sony handycam I'd never use. I'm thinking with this camera, I can use it for rear camera in my car when I'm not cycling.

I have to buy some riding pants (padded) or a bib, because I do not want to have an ass that will be chewed up by riding. I may buy another seat, but I haven't gotten my Northrock bike yet, and I don't know when it will arrive. They are on back-order from Costco. I sent my last shipped bike bike, they sent me some cheap mountain bike. I brought it back to Costco the next day for a full refund, then ordered my road bike again.

All these things do not mean much to me. They are just items. I still miss Theresa dearly every day I am alive.
